Chapter 4: Oppa

"I'm tired." Eeteuk said as he place his cellphone back into his pocket. Both of them are now sitting on the bench facing the Han River. Like him, she also felt tired after a series of picture taking with him.

She didn't really think she could do it- having her picture taken with a pop idol. She really enjoyed it. Naya didn't care about the idea that everything might be just acting on his part, knowing that it's his job to please everyone. She doesn't care what will his opinion
about her be because she's pretty sure that it won't take long for him to forget her.

"Huh?" Naya's face looked at his. "I'm sorry if I've been a bother to you. I should leave." she smiled at him. "Thank you for pictures and... everything."

Naya stood but she felt his hand held hers.

"No. Don't leave. Stay." he said.

"But... but I thought you're tired... You should go home and rest. Besides you really look like one. A good sleep will be of help." she felt bad for him. It's only now when he stared at him that he indeed look tired.

"Please...just stay will you?" he said. "Even... just for while?" Naya felt him held her hand even tighter.

She sighed and went seated again. A deafening silence there again and Naya didn't know what to do. She sighed. He said.

"Is...there...uhm...anything wrong?" she can't help but ask.

Eeteuk smiled. "Are you that worried about me, noona?" he beamed.

"WHAAAT?!", she squealed. "Did you just call me Noona? Do I look that old to you?"

Eeteuk smiled.

"What?!", she was still glaring at him. "Do I look that old?", she asked again but this time, she was asking herself. Naya heard him chuckle.

"Ya!!!", she yelled at him. "How dare you call me Noona, mister? You're two years older than I am for your information!"

"Really? How'd you know that?", he winked at her. "Are you that interested in me that you --"

"Aaah, shut up. You're just famous that's why I knew about. Gosh you're so full of yourself."

"How can you say that?I was just asking.", Leeteuk can't stop grinning. "And you can't blame me if I called you noona. I was just trying to be polite. If I may say, I already introduce myself to you but you haven't tell me your name yet", he stared at her intently.

Naya kept quiet.

She intentionally didn't tell him her name. For her, it's not really important since they won't be seeing each other after that. But when he said that he was just trying to be polite, Naya felt ashamed of herself. What she did was really impolite.

"I'm sorry." she said. "By the way, I'm Naya."

"No worries. You don't really have to tell me your name. I already know it." he winked again.

Naya gave him a questioning look. Then, he pointed his finger on her neck. "Na-ya."

Right, she was wearing her necklace with her name on it.

"I told you to stop playing with me." she said with one brow raised.

"I'm not." he said.

'He was serious again.' Naya thought while looking at him.

"ARE YOU gonna stay with me now, Naya?" he asked.

Naya stiffened after she heard him say her name. The way he said it, it's different and she knows it. She knows because the effects of it are totally different.

"Naya?" he asked again.

'YES! I can stay with you forever.' If only she could say that.

"Is there anything wrong, Naya?" Leeteuk asked.

"Stop saying my name." she can't help saying it. Her heart's pounding again.

"Why? I like the sound of it. I like your name, Naya." he glanced at her and then back to the river again.

Moments have passed but Leeteuk seemed to be not interested in talking to her.

"I'm sorry but I just can't stay here with you if well only just sit here and do nothing." Naya said after clearing her throat.

He grinned. "Why? What else do you want US to do?" he asked. Obviously, there's another meaning to what he's asking.

"Stupid. That's not what I mean and you know it." she rolled her eyes. "If you want me to stay here, then we have to talk."

"Okay."

Silence.

Silence.

Silence.

"So?"

"So, what?" he asked.

"Gosh!" she stood to leave him. But again, he stopped her by reaching for her hand.

"Fine. Ask me what you wanna know and I'll answer it." he said still holding it.

Naya took her seat again and sighed.

"Are you alright?" she started.

"You want an honest answer?" He asked in return instead of answering it.

"Of...course."

"I'm tired. I feel drained and...and I just want to get out of here."

"I see. Then...why don't you take a vacation?"

"I'll have it after ASF." he said.

"ASF?" Naya asked.

"We'll be performing at the Asia Song Festival the day after tomorrow. Then, we'll get a vacation..."

"Then that's great! You'll get to recharge soon!" she smiled at him.

He sighed. "So, why don't you tell me about you...you're vacation... noona?"

"Noona?!"she glared at him. He's teasing her again! What the heck! This guy really knows how to irritate her anytime he likes. She sighed. "Whatever. I won't give you the satisfaction of irritating me... Eeteuk OPPA?"

"Eeteuk oppa?" he laughed. "I like that..."

Eeteuk looked at her. "So, start telling your story now."

"There's nothing much to tell. My life isn't as interesting as yours, oppa." Naya glanced at the Han River and sighed. "Maybe that's why I decided to take a vacation alone...without anyone's knowledge." She smiled bitterly.

Eeteuk stared at Naya.

"Don't get me wrong, oppa. I don't hate life, okay?" she smiled.

"Looks like you love calling me 'oppa', right noona?" Eeteuk grinned.

Naya smiled and then laughed. "Oppa, oppa, oppa, oppa..." she said playfully. "You don't like it?"

"Are you teasing me?", he asked.

"Why? Are you suprised I also know how to tease someone?", she asked, teasing him.

Silence.

Naya felt nervous. Maybe he indeed doesn't like. She cleared her throat and sighed.

"I love it." he said after a few minutes.

"Huh?", she asked.

"I love hearing you calling me oppa."

Naya blushed. "I see."

Silence.

Then, Naya cleared her throat.

"I'll start going around tomorrow. Can you tell me some nice places to visit?" Naya tried to end the defeaning silence between them.

"You want me to be your tour guide?" he asked.

"No. Of course not! I was just asking. Actually, you dont have to answer it... I was just trying to start a conversation." Naya said.

"The Olympic Stadium." she heard Eeteuk said after a while.

"Olympic Stadium?" she echoed. "Cool. Thanks."

That started it all. She and Eeteuk spend three hours talking and just sighing. Naya was quite sure there's something bothering him. And how she wished she can just help him out.

Chapter 3: Fangirl Mode

"Uhm... I know you're kinda busy and all but... Can I..." Naya paused and instead of finishing the sentence, she held her cam for him to see.

"Oh please just let him say yes..." praying silently, she looked at him while while waiting for his reply.

"Picture?" he smirked. "And what are you going to do with the picture?" Eeteuk asked her.

"Post it on my blog..." Naya informed him.

"Blog? Aren't you scared that you might get harrassed by the..." he stopped before finishing his sentence.

"By the fans?" she asked. "Well, not really. Your fans back home were not really as crazy and rabid as your fans here. I think they're... Uhm... Quite more open-minded?" she smiled. "They'd probably say they're jealous and that i'm lucky to meet you but I don't think
they'll harrass me. He-he."

"Really?" Eeteuk doesn't seem convinced.

Naya pouted her lips. Looking at his face which mirrored a I'm-not-sure-about-that look also made her doubt what she had just said.

"Well, maybe... I guess..." she replied. "Anyways my blog isn't really famous. Besides if they'll harrass me, I'll just filter the ones who can see the pics. It's easy!", she winked at him.

Leeteuk was startled. Thanks to the wink.

"Really? You can do that?" he asked.

She stared at him. "Just tell me if you don't me to take your picture. It's fine.", she said

He grinned and for heaven sakes! It made her knees weak. She finally saw that grin up close- the kind of grin which she only sees on tv and Youtube!

"You're so hot-headed." he said as he touched her face. "I was just teasing you. You're cu- I mean attractive when you're irritated."

Okay, that's it! Naya felt like she's having a heart attack. She was successful not to stiffen when he touched her cheek, but this is too much-she knew she was turning red and her heart is pounding in such a way that it's the only sound she can hear.

She cleared her throat. "Ha-ha! You're so funny. As if I'd believe you!" Naya said trying to compose herself.

"I'm telling the-"

"Whatever. Can I take your picture now?" Naya asked him again.

"Sure." he smiled at her.

"Cool." She positioned her cam to take a photo of him. When she's done with it, he asked her if she can have her picture taken with. He agreed and when she tried to position the cam again, Eeteuk grab it from her.

"I'll do it." he said and put his hand on her shoulder.

Naya was awed by what he did that she can't move. They already standing side by side, leaning on the railings. He took photos of them together twice.

"You look weird." he said while looking at their photos. Naya stared at her cam and turned red!

"Oh my god!" she squealed looking at it. "Erase it! Gosh I look awful! Come on, let me delete that!"

Naya saw him smiling. "No. It's cool. Don't delete it."

"No. I wanna delete it." she then deleted the pics. "Now, let's do it again, okay? Just don't..."

"Don't what? Don't put by hands here?" Eeteuk asked her as he put his arms on her shoulders. She froze, he chuckled. "Don't worry. Just relax, okay?" he whispered on her ear.

"How can I when you're doing this?!" Naya want able to stop herself from saying it.

Chapter 2: Knowing Me, Knowing You

"I'd better leave" she said and left him standing there. There's no point staying when every minute she's with him, she's making a fool out of herself. When she realized that she hasn't thanked him, Naya turned to him but she saw him walking the other way. The guy was also leaving.

"Hey!" she called and the guy turned to her. "Thank you for helping me out, by the way." she said while smiling.

The guy nod his head and turned to leave.

"What the heck was that? Just like that? A nod and... just like that?" she told herself. It's weird. Just a while ago he seemed to be in a good mood.

"Hey you!" she tried to call him again but he didn't hear it. "Hey!" she called out again while running after him. There seem to be no hope since the guy still can't hear her.

"Okay, hope this works" she told herself. "Ya!!! Ahjusshi!" she yelled at the same time grabbing his hand.

Naya looked at him and thought he looked weird. It seems like he's a trying to regain his composure before facing her.

EETEUK WAS IN a bad mood again just like the weeks before. He's been feeling totally drained due to lack of sleep and rest, and the pressure he and the whole group has been facing from the management was at its worst. Everything seemed to be in a mess. That's why he's here spending time alone. He decided to distance himself from the others to avoid misunderstanding just like what ha happened two weeks ago when he and Yesung had a disagreement that they almost hit each other.

Luckily, the others were there and Heechul was able to stop them. Everything's fine between him and Yesung now. It's just that he doesn't want it to happen again.

He's been spending time watching the Han River since that disappointing incident. It was here where he can clear his mind from everything that has been bothering him. He thought this place could be his secret sanctuary. It actually was... not until this woman arrived and disturbed his silence.

The woman was rather cute or should he say pretty. That's what she told him. She said she's not cute. She's pretty. It made him smile. First glance and he's sure she's not Korean. The woman has big eyes, double eyelids, not-so upturned nose- definitely not Korean. He enjoyed teasing her especially when she said he looked familiar. Funny, but he wished she knew him as a leader of a famous boy group, Super Junior.

He probably went too far teasing her since she immediately left after echoing what he said. But who can blame him? He felt good when she told him that he's not cute but rather attractive. He also decided to leave when she left. There's no point staying here any longer since he felt good already. Thanks to that woman.

And now she's calling him again. Eeteuk smiled and opted to tease her once more.

"Ya! Ahjusshi!" the woman called out as she grab his hand. He can't stop himself from grinning but he tried to and he's sure he looked weird.

"Ye?" he asked.

"Can I ask you something?" The woman said.

He replied in Korean and she immediately saw her looking at him with questioning eyes.

"English. Speak in English." she said.

Eeteuk told her to go on with her question.

"Are you... Are you... The guy from Super Junior? Eeteuk?"she asked hesitantly.

"What made you think that way?" He smirked trying to hide the smile off his face. But deep inside he can't help but feel even better of what she asked.

"Well... You sort of look the same. I mean, the eyes, the brows, the smile..." she paused and sighed. "Oh well, nevermind. He probably has lots of look alikes. Bye."

"Are you trying to say he has an ordinary face?" he asked her. It took time for her to answer the query and Eeteuk can't help but feel intrigued.

"I don't know." she told him. "Maybe."

I chuckled. "Its Jung Su."

"What did you say?" she stopped on her track and turned to him again.

"My name's Jung Su. But..." Eeteuk paused for a while and continued, "a lot people call Eeteuk or Teukie. Whatever you like will do."

Then he saw her smile. The kind of smile different from moments ago. This smile he's seeing now is far more sweeter than he had ever seen.

"So... You're him?" she asked again.

"What do you think?"

"I think you're him." she said surely.

Eeteuk smirked.

Chapter 1: The Han Meeting

NAYA was looking outside the window as the plane was about to leave the airport. She really can't explain what she's feeling at that moment. It's her first time to travel abroad and she didn't even inform her parents about it. She was scared of the idea that she might get yelled at for making them worry but at the same time she can't deny the fact that she's so excited of having a impromptu vacation abroad. She has always dreamed about it- traveling abroad and visit scenic and historical places. Thanks to her world history teacher, she became obsessed of wanting to see the pyramids and the sphinx to say the least. And now, it wouldn't be just a dream. She can really travel to Egypt anytime she wants to. After winning the lottery, she can definitely do what she wants to do.

But the thing is, even though she has become rich because of luck, Naya doesn't want to give up her work. Actually, her parents had the same idea. It's not really a hassle since she decided not to tell her friends about her winning the lottery. The truth is, there's one major reason why she decided to keep everything a secret...

It's been more than a year now that the relationship between she and her two friends are not the way it used to be. Nope, they didn't fight. It never really happened even once. The main reason of I'd was, they became quite busy with their boyfriends and that that made Naya felt left out. Though she knows she has mediocre looks, she knows she's not ugly. She's on fact confident. The only problem is that she's not sexy. She's chubby and in this world full of stereotypical minds, that ain't great. She's been chubby since she was a kid. At first she couldn't care less but recently, she decided to at least try to lose some pounds and she's somehow successful doing it though she's definetely far from being called sexy.

The plane has been traveling for about half an hour now. It's on it's way to Korea. Thanks to her fettish for Asian dramas, Naya wanted to visit Korea first since it's nearer. Egypt can wait, she told herself.

She closed her eyes and tried to listen to whats playing on her ipod. It's an audio on basic Korean language. She thought it can help her I'm her stay there.

She sighed and listened some more

AFTER some hours, the plane had landed. She bought a traveling guide and walk her way to get a cab. She checked in a hotel and decided to go through the guide.

"Now where do I start?", she asked herself while sitting in a restaurant waiting for her food. "Defintely Namsan stairs, Seoul Tower, the cafe in the Coffee Prince, and of course, I'd go shopping." Naya continued staring at the guide marking all the places she wants to visit. She has ten days to stroll around Korea. Maybe she'll try signing up in a tour or something later.

She heard someone talk. She saw the waitress with her ordered food. Naya smiled and said "thank you" in Korean. She's knew she sounded weird when she saw the waitress smiled her.

"You're tourist?", she asked.

"Yeah. Vacation." I smiled at her.

She nods her head and smiled again. She spoke in Korean which Naya couldn't comprehend and left.

"So, this is how Koreans felt back home, eh?" she murmured to herself thinking about those Korean students who felt the same thing she's feeling right now because they couldn't understand the local language. "No, don't think so. People back home can at least speak English or something." Naya told herself.

After eating, Naya tried to look around , memorizing every twists and turns she had while strolling around. She's pretty good at memorizing her way so she's hoping she won't get lost.

"Woah!" she was awed after seeing a wide river in front of her which looks exactly like the ones she sees on photos and videos. "So... Is this the Han River? Or is it not?", she started taking pictures of it with her new cam- the cam she has always wanted to buy because of it's awesome specs.

"It is." Naya was startled after hearing the voice behind her. The voice thought seemed familiar but she's not sure where she heard it.

"Huh?", she turned around asking. Then her heart started beating fast as she was looking at the guy she infront of her. "My gosh. He look like Eeteuk of Super Junior", she told herself still staring at him.

"I mean, this IS the Han River." he spoke again beaming at her. "Did I scare you?, he asked when she didn't respond. His English kinda off but it was acceptable. In fact, she finds it cute.

"Huh? Yeah. I mean... Uhm... I was just... Uhm..." -wth. Why startle now, Naya? Stop blabblering will you? Jeez!- She told herself. She tried to regain her composure. Then, she looked at him again and smiled, "No, not really. You don't look scary at all." Naya told the guy.

The guy stared at her as if trying to understand what she was saying. Naya hesitantly repeated what she said slowly, the guy smiled and she did the same thing.

Naya turned to look at the Han Ruver again. -He really looked like him. I can't forget that smile... It's the same as Eetuk's smile I would see online- she breathe deeply.

"Uhm... Did I disturb you?", she asked. Naya assumed that the guy was already there when she arrived.

"Not really."

She nods and smiled at him anxiously.

"Are you... Vacation?", he asked.

"Yeah. I just came here.", she replied

Silence.

They're both staring at the River infront if them. Naya has been quite conscious of the guy standing a couple if meters away from her. Still wondering if he's the guy she thought he was, Naya tried to steal a glance of the guy beside her.

-His hair... His brows... The eyes... The lips... Is he really him?-

"Yes?", she heard him say

Embarassed, Naya looked away. She didn't realized she was already staring at him. "Jeez, Naya! How can you be so stupid?", she asked herself.

Naya heard him chuckle.

"You were looking at me.", he said.

-You mean gawking not just looking- Naya wanted to tell him. "Uhm... Yeah... Sorry about that. I just thought you look familiar" she tried to look at him and saw him grinning at her.

"Really?", he said looking surprised but the grin was still planted in his face.

Naya just nodded. She started taking pictures of the place around her jet to keep her busy and forget about the guy beside her.

Even though the surrounding were noisy because of the speeding cars passing by, Naya seems to her nothing but her pounding heart.

She held her cam with her left hand and closed her eyes tightly. -Whats wrong with me? Why am I feeling this way?-

To her surprise, she felt someone grab her camera. Her face shot up with a questioning look and saw the guy in front of her.

"I'll take your picture.", he said.

"What?", Nayah asked.

"I'll take your picture. You're a tourist, right?", he took the camera from her hand and started walking away. "No one will take your picture so I'll do it."

Naya can't find the right words to say and just stood there.

"Ready?", he looked at her shook his head and chuckled again.

Naya can't help but raise her brows while looking at him. "What? You think I'm funny?", she asked.

He shook his he's and said, "No, I think your cute."

She poured her lips. "What did you s-"

Flash.

"Yah!"

Flash

"What the heck are you doing?!", she's starting to get irritated.

"Not bad", she heard him say. "you look good", he continued while scanning the pictures he just took.

"Give me that", Naya said as she approach him. The guy just held the camera above his head when she tried to get it. "Hand it over", she said. Still, nothing happened. She subconsciously extended her right arm into his left arm for support and started jumping to reach it but it's no use.

"Give me my cam back. Please. I'm serious."

A ring from cellphone stopped her from trying to reach her cam. He reached for his phone, looked at the screen, and just like that, his playful expression was changed into bored and irritation. Still, he decided to answer it and it gave Nayah the chance to grab her cam from the guy.

He just looked at her while answering the phone. Though he sounded irritated with whoever he's talking to, when he looked at her, he still gave a smile.

Naya thought her heart stopped when he saw his smile. Then he turned his back again. Naya was curious about what the guy was talking about since he she can't understand the what he's saying. She pouted her lips when she remembered the smile he just have her and started browsing the pictures on her cam.

She initially thought the guy got talent in photography when she saw the pictures he took of her. -Whatever. The credit doesnt totally goes to him. It's probably because the camera is awesome and this is my best angle.- she told herself.
